Breyden Boyd
Breyden Boyd is a writer and filmmaker from Norman, Oklahoma. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Oklahoma in 2025 with a degree in Film & Media Studies and a minor in Professional Writing.
Breyden is best known for Shape-Man, his self-published graphic novel and the namesake of his creative studio, Shape Studios (Shape Comics). The story brings to life a cast of characters from his childhood imagination. It is available for purchase on this website and to read digitally on GlobalComix.

In addition to comics, Breyden is a screenwriter and director. His directorial debut, Bonehead, exists in the same slasher cinematic universe as his sophomore short film, Slash! The latter was co-directed by Anna England and won Best Student Short Film at the 2026 Circle Cinema Film Festival.
Weezer is his favorite band. Monster Bash is his favorite pinball machine. Guardians of the Galaxy is his favorite movie (honorable mention: Scream). Doctor Strange is his favorite superhero. He lives in Norman with his wife and three cats. Life is good.
